SUMMARY SCOPE OF WORK
ASPHALT
Remove and replace the existing Asphalt that totals 136,500 sq ft.
1. Obtain required dust control, water meter, and water permits.
2. Provide traffic control and barricades as required.
3. Remove existing asphalt to a depth of 3” down to base.
4. Grade and compact existing base materials.
5. Install new ½” parking lot mix to a minimum depth of 3”.
6. Roll for proper compaction utilizing a vibratory wheel roller
7. Install new 2 ¼” speed bumps at thirteen (13) locations.
VALLEY GUTTERS
Concrete Valley Gutters
• Survey concrete center valleys for proper drainage prior to street re-paving. Identify and correct any
drainage slope issues before or in conjunction with the asphalt replacement.
Remove and replace Damaged Valley Gutters totaling 3,020 linear feet
1. Saw cut failing concrete valley gutters
2. Break out concrete and haul away.
3. Form and pour new concrete to match existing.
Install New Valley Gutters totaling 230 linear feet
1. Form and pour new concrete to match existing.
CURBING
Raised Curbing
1. Add curbs between driveways and greenbelt areas totaling 1,049.2 linear feet.
2. Paint using appropriate yellow (loading zone) and red (fire zone) colors with an appropriate
durable and, as needed, reflective coating.
Ribbon Curbing
1. Form and pour 8” wide curbs between driveways flush with height of driveway slabs totaling
1,132.4 linear feet.
