SILVA INTERNATIONAL STORAGE FACILITY
The Silva International Storage Facility project, built for Silva International, Inc., included the
new construction of a 180,000 square foot industrial warehouse located on the campus of a
manufacturing plant in Momence, IL. The facility functions as a controlled access storage facility
for dehydrated fruits and vegetables and houses a receiving area, break rooms, locker rooms,
offices, and work room for plant employees. The industrial warehouse construction consisted of a
concrete slab with piers foundation, a pre-engineered metal building, an exterior of metal, and a
standing seam roof. The project also features seven cargo bays, three large overhead bays, rack
storage, and a B-cat bay. Due to CORE’s effective project coordination, the Silva International
Storage Facility project was completed on-time and on-budget.
