database. For every current module on SITS, a Moodle page is
created. If a module occurs more than once during an academic year, a
Moodle page will be created for each occurrence. Modules from
previous years are also accessible. Students are automatically enrolled
on the Moodle pages corresponding to each of their modules based on
their enrolment on SITS. Modules that are not linked to SITS modules,
e.g. program modules or online common rooms, can also be set up by
completing a Non-SITS Module Request Form on ServiceNow. Students
can either be enrolled manually on these modules by program
administrators or automatically by requesting a business rule to be set
up when completing the Non-SITS Module Request Form (business
rules require SITS program or route code(s) for the students to be
provided).

Moodle Module Organization

Moodle can be accessed using the web link: moodle.city.ac.uk. All City
staff and students can access Moodle using their City username and
password. Once logged in, staff and students see top
slider which provides our Moodle users with timely information related to
issues that might impact on their usage of the system and tips on getting
the most out of Moodle. Modules are organized by School and then
Department or Program me.
You can use the Find a Module feature to:

Navigate to a module you are enrolled on.
Filter to display modules for a particular year or term.
Search for a module.
Navigate your Favorites.

As a course officer you are often enrolled on a number of categories
with modules over three years. You can apply a year filter to only show

modules from the current academic year.
