2. EQUALITY & DIVERSITY
2.1 Our Policy
At Thomas Franks we recognise that the society we live in is complex and diverse. It is our philosophy that we should all embrace this diversity for the lessons we can learn from each other and the enrichment we can gain from experiencing different cultures and ways of life.
We value all our people equally and strive to ensure that no colleague, job applicant, customer or visitor is treated less favourably or with less consideration, on the grounds of their age, race, colour, religion, nationality, ethnic or national origin, sex, sexual orientation, disability or marital status.
All Thomas Franks employees have a personal responsibility, both morally and legally, not to discriminate against any individual on any of the above grounds. The practical application of the company’s equal opportunities policy is the responsibility of each and every Thomas Franks employee.
Every colleague involved in recruitment, selection, promotion and training of Thomas Franks personnel, has a special responsibility to ensure that every such decision is made on the basis of aptitude and ability, and that discrimination does not occur during any of these processes.
