2.2 Your Responsibility
It is a condition of your employment that you embrace this policy and make an individual commitment to uphold its principles and ensure that discrimination is not allowed to occur in any act you undertake on behalf of Thomas Franks limited.
Disciplinary action will be taken against any colleague found to have committed an act of unlawful discrimination or harassment. Discriminatory conduct and sexual or racial harassment shall be regarded as gross misconduct.
All Thomas Franks line managers and colleagues will receive training on our Equal Opportunities Policy and its implementation. Any colleague who believes they require further clarification of our principles in respect of equality of opportunity, discrimination or harassment, should speak to the people and training department.
We ask that all Thomas Franks people be open minded, accepting, respectful and fair to others at all times. If any colleague experiences or witnesses conduct which they believe breaches this policy, it is their duty to bring it to the attention of their line manager or the people and training department and if necessary, to raise the issue as a confidential grievance.
