c. If you write your number down you’re 10 times more likely to
achieve that goal

4. Write down all your goals
a. When you write your goals down clearly, you have something you can touch and therefore your goals become much more concrete. Whatever you write down it gets programmed into your subconscious and you’re actively thinking about it, in the background, all the time.
b. Most important goal must be measurable, so you always know how close you are to that goal.
c. Write it down as if it’s Guaranteed to you
5. Set a deadline and sub deadlines
a. Take a larger goal and break it down into steps. Give yourself a monthly, weekly, daily goal system. The more you break your goal down the more likely it is you’ll achieve it.
b. If for some reason you don’t achieve your goal, then set a new deadline and go back to work
6. Identify obstacles you’ll have to overcome
a. Principle of constraints
i. There’s always one limiting factor that sets the speed of how quickly you reach your goal
b. Keep asking what’s holding you back?
c. 80/20
i. 80 percent of the reasons you’re held back are within yourself 1. Lack of a skill or lack of quality... or lack of knowledge
ii. 20 percent are on the outside 7. Identify the knowledge and skills you will need
