W hat was the name and nature of the compe-
tition?
The name of the competition for which we were
building the kart was ‘International Series of Kart-
ing(ISK)-2K16’. It was held at Lahari resorts, Pa-
tancheru,Hyderabad.

H ow was your experience in making of your kart
and participating in the race?
Yeah! It was one of our most anticipated projects. We
had faced a lot of barriers regarding the designing as-
pects and also making all the stuff practically ready for
the race. In the beginning, we were having a blemished
view of the ARIôN-1(our kart), but when we started
taking little things more seriously, everything else just
followed up.
Making of the ARIôN-1 was
one of our best experiences until now as it has made
us think more practical and also gave us a peak on
how things work in the real world. We also had a nice
interaction with other groups and the event co-ordi-
nators which made us more interactive in the event.
We also used to have 10-15 laps race every month at
Chicane circuit with all the drivers and also the people
who were passionate about riding. This helped us to
unite a single spirit and at the same time helped us in
building a team spirit among ourselves.
Finally, the project
ARIôN-1 is a huge success and has raised the bar
in our college for the group of the Mechanical
Engg and we hope our college releases the fund
soon as we are intended to another Confidential
Project, THE IRON SUIT!!(laughs).
