       OBJECTIVE:

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale provides exemplary facilities that
 create a safe youth development environment for members. It is important
 that facilities look and feel youth-friendly, clean, positive, and fun. The Club
  RESPONSIBLE PARTY:
Climate is directly impacted by the cleanliness and upkeep of Club facilities.
  All Branch Staff
     PROCEDURAL STEPS:
The Club environment should be bright, colorful, and clean. The rooms
 should represent the programs offered and the youth that participate. It is
 the responsibility of all staff to support the cleanliness and upkeep of the
 facility. Staff assigned to maintenance and cleaning are responsible for deep
 cleaning with the support of all staff and members doing their part of
 cleaning after themselves, discarding unused items, clearing after programs,
 and using proper trash receptables in every room.
 Members should begin every Club experience in a clean, fresh, and
 prepared facility and/or program areas.
 All staff must be aware of the Facility standards policy which details:
 Hanging Letter-Sized Flyers and Notices
 Ensuring all items are presented in a manner that is professional,
 computer printed (not handwritten), free from spelling or grammatical
 errors. Items should be written using positive language as they
 provide useful information to members and their family.

 Larger Posters
 It is best to frame posters to prolong the life of the paper and provide
 a more formal appearance. Posters should be free from rips and
 ragged edges. Also, frames should be replaced if cracked or
 damaged.
 Appropriate Tape Usage
 Floor tape may be used in the gym or when sectioning off the games
 room. Double sided tape should be used when handing items to
 walls/windows. Duct tape should only be used to tape materials to
 other materials. Duct tape is not appropriate for walls, floors, or other
 painted surfaces.
