OBJECTIVE:
Policy 504: Facility Use by Outside Group
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale may allow use of Club facility by
partner organizations and outside groups. Facilities not owned by Boys &
RESPONSIBLE PARTY:
Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale must obtain approval from the owner
organization before outside groups receive approval from the Clubs to use
Club areas. The reputation of the Club and the protection of the brand are
important. Incidents occurring during the use of outside groups must be
handled by the Club as well. The organization is ultimately responsible for
issues occurring in the Club facility.
Branch Director
PROCEDURAL STEPS:
For outside groups to use any Club facility, four conditions must be met:
• Branch Director determination that it is consistent with the
organization vision, mission and philosophy
• Outside group has a general liability policy of a minimum of $1
million
• Outside group provides a certificate of additional insurance to the
organization listing the BGCS branch location as being covered by
their insurance
• Outside group signs a Facility Use Agreement outlining the rules,
responsibilities, rent and deposit required of the outside group and indemnifying the Club for liability claims
Outside groups will not be allowed into our facility if above conditions are not met. The documents must be completed and submitted to the Chief Operating Officer before the outside group uses our facility.
