∆P filter = ∆P housing + ∆P element If working in units of bars & L/min, divide above Accessories
Exercise: factor by 54.9. for Tank-
Determine ∆P at 60 gpm (225 L/min) for Viscosity factor: Divide viscosity by 150 SUS (32 cSt). Mounted
KL32KZ10P24 using 200 SUS (44 cSt) fluid. Filters
Solution:
∆P housing = 6 psi [.4 bar] PAF1
∆P element = 60 x .03 x (200÷150) = 2.4 psi
or
= [225 x (.03÷54.9) x (44÷32) = .17 bar] MAF1
∆P total = 6 + 2.4 = 8.4 psi
or
= [.4 + .17 = .57 bar] MF2
