Polyvinylidene fluoride, or PVDF – also known
as Kynar – is a fluorocarbon that has excellent
abrasion resistance, dielectric properties, and
mechanical strength. In the area of chemical
compatibility, Kynar is highly resistant to wet
or dry chlorine, bromine, and other halogens,
alcohols, strong acids, aliphatics, aromatics,
and chlorinated solvents.
That makes our TrueSeal Kynar fittings an
excellent choice for chemical processing, as
well as manufacturing involving exposure to
