15. Anchors and outboard engines shall be stowed inboard.
16. Protests
16.1 The RYA Rules Dispute Advisory and Arbitration Hearings are
available at this event
16.2 Protest forms are available at the Race Office. Completed forms and
requests for redress must be submitted within the protest time limit.
16.3 Protestors shall inform the Race Officer of their intentions when
finishing or retiring.
16.4 Notices will be posted no later than 30 minutes after the protest time
limit to inform competitors of hearings in which they are parties or
witnesses.
16.5 Hearings will be held in the trophy room of the RCYC not before
16.00.
17. Scoring
17.1 The Low Point System of Appendix A will apply.
17.2 If three or less races in a series are completed no score will be
excluded.
17.3 When four or more races have been completed, a boats series score
will be the total of her race scores excluding her one worst score.
17.4 One or more races may constitute a series.
18. Communications.
18.1 Committee boat Race Officers will communicate with competitors on
VHF CH72. RCYC line and BSC line Race Officers will transmit
on CH37.
18.2 Except in an emergency, a boat shall neither make radio
transmissions while racing nor receive radio communications
