Well, there are dozens of avenues now open to you. Choice is overwhelming, as we all
know, so ask yourself this question: What do you love most about bondage? Do you love
the feeling of being restricted, whether it’s being tied to a bedframe by your ankles or
woven into gorgeous rope so you can’t even wriggle an inch? Do you love the artistic flow
that you feel when you have some tasty little sub under your knots, and you can use him
or her as a canvas for your beautiful expression? Do you love being spanked while you’re
immobile, or tickled into submission by your caring, trustworthy top? Is it the possibility of
giving your liberty over to the hands of a number of different dominant people that gets
you hot under the collar? Or are you one of those sadistic devils who just loves to see a
writhing rope bunny struggle beneath your ties?
Identifying your specific kink can open up a whole world of gorgeously sexy options to you
if you feel that you’d like to explore bondage or BDSM even further. If, for instance, you feel
confident that being a submissive is something you’d like to do more of, and your partner is
practically bursting at the seams with the need to tie you up and ravish you, then perfect!
You’re lucky in that your kinks complement each other, and you’ve already got a partner
who you trust implicitly. Sit down together, be honest about your fantasies and desires, and
set about trying them. Can you think of a better way to spend a rainy Friday night?
However, if you’re really into topping and love the idea of getting a whole range of
tantalizing submissives under your rope, then you might want to think about getting out
into your local kink community and finding some new willing partners to play with. Rope
bondage is a craft like any other, and the more you practice, the better you will become.

why wouldn’t you want to practice every day when your craft is as sensual as this?

Let’s say that you’ve devoured all the information in this book a few times, salivated over
the luscious photos, and have nearly worn the damn thing out by practicing the ties and
checking on the suggestions for communication before and after playtime. Who can blame
you? I can barely tear myself away from this thing, and I wrote it. You might have a dirty
mind, but you have great taste!
There are many ways to move forward with rope. You’ll most likely want to hone your skills,
and though there are many fantastic books teaching intermediate bondage, there are also a
large number of real-life classes in big cities around the globe. If you find a good, reputable
teacher who has good standing in your local community, you will find these classes a great
place to flourish in your craft, and they’ll also provide wonderful opportunities to meet
people who also love bondage and want to go further into the bondage world. Events like
Shibaricon are world-renowned, and there are many smaller events in the same vein, so
your opportunities for education and growth will be numerous.
You may even decide, eventually, that you want to become a bondage performer. The
modern bondage community is as expansive as it is exciting, and there are bondage-
themed events all over the world. In Toronto, Morpheous’ Bondage Extravaganza has
grown over eight years to become the world’s largest public rope bondage event. This
event, the highlight of my calendar, is a twelve-hour spree of rope-related revelry, with
bunnies and riggers from all over the world showcasing their skills to thousands of visitors
and viewers online, and all for free. It is a way to make the art of rope accessible for
everyone without barriers. Though the riggers involved have many different styles, the
diverse nature of the event means that we can showcase the very best of bondage for
both art and sex, meaning that even the vanilla voyeurs who wander in accidentally end
up staying all night. If your goal is to one day be a rigger up there on the stage making the
audience gasp with pleasure, then seek out bondage events and immerse yourself in the
community. You’ll find mentors, bunnies, fans, and professionals there, and along with all
these types of people comes opportunity. And I can’t say it loud enough: Practice, practice,
practice. These bunnies aren’t going to tie themselves!
