LOW TORQUE TOOL
The Low Torque Tool is a hydraulically powered
subsea torque tool capable of developing well in
excess of 100Nm of Torque. The tool comes with
interchangeable drive sockets to fit the required
interface of valve equipment.
Hydraulic Power is supplied to a Hydraulic Motor (via the ROV) which
engages a Reduction Gearbox inside the tool and outputs well in excess of
100Nm of torque at speed of up to 78 rpm through the drive socket.
The ROV handle located on the top of the tool allows the ROV manipulators Rear View of the tool
to grip and manoeuvre the tool into position.
