Fact – If you are not black, you don’t have a right to
voice your opinion: This assertion tends to arise as part

of the aftermath of what is perceived as an incident of
so-called racial injustice, primarily involving a black male
and a police officer. The existence of this position is a

fact. There are those who proclaim it with the utmost
confidence. There are even those who identify as

Christians that embrace this stance. What is more, there
are those in church leadership who have made such a

pronouncement. Undoubtedly, they believe they are
right – even righteous in this attitude.

Truth – Our rights are divinely granted: There are three
major troubling aspects to this assertion. The third has

eternal ramifications. First, it is by its nature –
discriminatory, which renders it hypocritical. Second, it

is a direct violation of the Constitution of the United
States, which guarantees freedom of speech. This

renders it tyrannical in nature. Thirdly, and most
importantly, it transgresses GOD’s sovereignty. It is GOD

who gave humankind free will. Deuteronomy 30:19
