Truth – There is no “racial us” to understand: There are

several problems with the above fact. It presupposes
that all people of a certain skin tone have the same
experiences and are the same. Truthfully, this is a

stereotype. We cannot understand a person by studying
or reading books about a culture. People are individuals

with different experiences and out looks. Tragically, its
basis is rooted in the discredited sociological definition

of race. Sadly, those that adhere to this assertion
embrace an unhealthy humanistic self-identity linked to

their skin color and ethnicity. The Absolute Truth is that
GOD created us to be individuals whose identity is

wrapped in HIM. We are made to be in relationship with
HIM and with each other as one family. Our

understanding of one another is grounded in the mutual
understanding of WHO GOD is and HIS Nature. We know
that all else pales in comparison.

Fact – Race is a matter of skin color and ethnicity: In

Chapter 1, we discussed at length the sociological
definition of race. We identified that this definition is

the predominant definition and is even largely embraced
by the church. It is a fact, but it is not truth.

Truth – Race is not a matter of skin color and ethnicity:
In Chapters 1 and 2 we discussed at length the biological

and most importantly the Biblical definitions of race.
