A significant number of these have a great deal of merit
and can even bring about some desired change.
A problem arises when these resources are
recommended over the Bible. In some cases, such
resources have been employed to measure the accuracy
the Scripture. Never should the WORD of GOD be
measured against anything; rather, all things ultimately
are measured by the WORD of GOD! This is not to
suggest that exploring other resources is necessarily
bad. It can be immensely helpful. However, one should
take great care in what one allows to penetrate our eyes
and ears. The danger ensues when these resources are
accepted as paramount to the Scriptures. This supposes
that the WORD of GOD is insufficient. This essentially
denies that JESUS CHRIST is who the WORD says HE is,
and HIS life, sacrifice and resurrection are not enough.
This is a significant danger that has eternal ramifications.
The Solid Rock Foundation
CHRIST is the Solid Rock, the Cornerstone upon which
we must build the foundations of our life (Luke 6:48,
Ephesians 2). If we truly abide in CHRIST, we are HIS
disciples. It is then and only then that we can genuinely
enjoy complete healing and reconciliation among
humankind. Racism is sin! CHRIST has already paid the
