Chapter 2: Biblical Definition of Race

Let us begin this definition with the beginning: Genesis

1:26-27: Then GOD said, “Let US make human beings in
OUR image, to be like US. They will reign over the fish in

the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild
animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry

along the ground.” So, GOD created human beings in
HIS own image. In the image of GOD, HE created them;
male and female HE created them. Notice, HE created

one human race.

In that light, we offer the following Biblical definition of
race. Race is the linage of a family, or sustained

succession of descendants from a parent or stock. A race
is the series of descendants indefinitely from that stock.
Thus, all humankind is of the race of Adam. In the eyes

of our CREATOR we are all family. Created to be unified,
knitted together emotionally, physically, and spiritually
to have dominion over the earth to serve HIS purpose.

To glorify HIM in all we do. Equally important, we are
created as one family to be in relationship with our
CREATOR. This is the definition embraced by the

Spiritual Thinker.
