definitions does society most often embrace? More
strikingly, which of these definitions does the church
most often embrace? Which definition of race,
sociological, biological, or Biblical, appears to be aligned
with the Dark Realm versus the Realm of the Spirit of
Light? Are you beginning to see a problem and
disconnect with how society and even the church has
treated, viewed, taught, and talked about the concept
race?
Human Identity Based on Race Definitions
Given this conundrum and using the definitions of race,
it is appropriate that we take a brief look at human
identity - that is - how we define ourselves and how
others may define us, or how we should have or may
want or others to define us. Ultimately, the important
thing is how GOD defines us.
So, what is this concept of identity and why is it
important? Identity is an issue that is meaningful to
everyone. Identity correlates to the timeless question of;
who am I, and the related inquiry of; who and what do I
appear to be; to myself, to my companions, and to
others etc. Depending on the basis of one’s identity and
given the degree of the consistency or inconsistency of
that identity, “a person can be seen to be many things at
