Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance…for GOD sees

not as a man sees, for man looks at the outward
appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” GOD sees
the intent of our hearts and judges our hearts.

The problem is that our hearts are inherently wicked.

Jeremiah 17:9 declares, [T]he human heart is the most
deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. In this

condition, it is subject to the wiles of the Dark Realm.
This is why we need a heart and an identity
transformation. It is the condition of our hearts that

            truly defines our identity.

Human Identity Based on the Sociological Definition of
Race – In Chapter 1, we discussed the challenges of a

race definition based on a sociological construct. We
identified the inconsistency of its meaning and the
problematic results of its reality. The term “race” used

in this discussion is the sociological definition.

The challenge with a self-identity based on race is that it
often exhibits traits similar to a dysfunctional humanistic
                     13
identity. For example; who I am is based on the
approval of others. In this case, that approval is sought
from those of a particular ethnic background and

culture. It is limited in its purview and may often
generate intolerance or disdain for differing cultures.

Failure to meet the expectations of a particular ethnic
