longer an imperative; molding perceptions is now the
standard. Many educational institutions are more
engaged in indoctrinating and programming students in
what to think rather than teaching how to think
critically. Unfortunately, this programming is rampant.

It begins at elementary school level systems and it
            extends through colleges and universities.

Those who watch today’s news programing are seeing

spin to advance an ideology. Truth or facts that disprove
the spin are routinely ignored or hidden. When truth or
facts conflict with the agenda, the practice is to simply
create a false narrative that advances the spin. It is a
“say anything”, “do anything” mentality to advance the
hidden agenda: the end justifies the means. The
problem is that eventually the sordid reality catches up
to all the hype. People eventually awake to find
themselves forced to live in the squalor of the reality

that they have enabled. For example, consider the plight
of the citizens of Venezuela, or consider the squalor of
homelessness in many of the major cities across the
USA. Given the present-day struggles between those
who seek to renew American exceptionalism with those
who wish to advance globalism, never have such

deceptive patterns been more pronounced than in
today’s political arena. How does one recognize
deception? We start by increasing our determination to
watch, think, and question in order to proactively seek
to determine deception on all levels.

As we consider the nature of deception, let us first
recognize the similarities between “advocates” and
