review how these prophecies point to the precise day
appointed for Israel’s rebirth (May 14, 1948). On that
day, David Ben-Gurion declared the State of Israel as a
            nation.

[Is. 11:10] The Star of David will rest on the flag of Israel

[Is. 11:10] As Isaiah prophesied, the banner of the Star
of David was proudly displayed on its flag. On that same

day, despite much opposition from his Cabinet, US
President Harry S. Truman boldly recognized Israel as a
rightful and sovereign nation. In doing this, he
proclaimed the full power and resources of the United
States stood firmly in support of Israel, its ally for
            freedom and liberty.

The next day (May 15, 1948) Britain, in compliance with
the 1947 United Nations Resolution 181, was preparing
to withdraw its troops; thus removing the protective
forces from the territories. On that same day, Israel was
attacked by an angry confederacy of Arab nations
(Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon). These bloody

battles continued until a brokered cease fire was
            negotiated, July 1949.

[Ps. 83:1-8] An Arab confederacy will seek to block Israel from
            becoming a nation.

[Ps. 83:1-8] – This conflict is known as Israel’s War of
Independence. While there is valid debate by some
prophecy scholars, many believe that this war was the
