fulfillment of the Psalms 83 War. In this war, Israel’s foes
consisted of a confederacy of Arab nations whose
intended purpose was to cut Israel off from becoming
the nation that GOD had ordained from the beginning.

If we compare the nations of the Psalms 83:4-8
Confederacy with the nations that attacked Israel in
1948, we notice a striking consistency: These five Arab

nations that attacked Israel on May 15, 1948 consisted
of substantially the same confederacy that Psalms 83
named; specifically the armies of Egypt, Syria, Jordan,
Lebanon, and Iraq led the fight. They were joined by
Palestinians and backed by the Saudis [173] . Their
purpose was as Psalms 83 stated; to cut Israel off from

becoming a nation such that their name would
nevermore be remembered. Thus, one has ample
reason to believe that this war was fulfilled Psalms 83.
However, prophecies sometimes have a pattern of
repeated fulfillment. Given the intense conflicts that
remain today, one should not be surprised to see Psalms
83 fulfilled again with a great benefit for Israel. That
could happen as a “Now” Prophecy. For more on this
