It is with this understanding of consequence and fragility that the audience are able to visualise just how devastating any interruption to the web of life can be. A JOURNEY OF REVELATION & TRANSFORMATION The Jaguar%u2019s Apprentice uses the journey of a young boy %u2018coming of age%u2019 to become his people%u2019s (the Carijona) next shamanic trainee, to lead us through the film..The life cycle of the blue morpho is thread through the path of the Jaguar%u2019s Apprentice as nature%u2019s metaphor for the rite of passage from child to adult, and the responsibility that comes with wisdom. The butterfly%u2019s journey also allows the films different elements to be woven together in a visually poetic way.
