Sparkle

Sparkle is a place where community is

created around intergenerational

practice.

Our Chair is made of bits of fabric

brought in by the children and their

Grandfriends, plaited together and

then woven around the chair.

The fabric includes scarves, ribbon, ties

and even shoelaces. Each bit represents

the person that brought it in and in

plaiting the pieces together we are
symbolising the relationships that are

formed. What started off as scraps of
material is now something unique and

beautiful, just like each Sparkle

Community.
