SSOW 001 Moving a Vibrating Plate
A safe system of work is a formal procedure which results from systematic examination of a task in
order to identify all the hazards. It defines safe methods to ensure that hazards are eliminated or
risks minimized.
Ensure your Manual Handling training has been completed before completing
this task and the appropriate PPE is being worn.
Position trolley opposite plate Lift plate and slide trolley underneath
Secure plate with strap to trolley Tilt trolley/plate backwards using foot to
stabilize
Push handle & maneuver
