SSOW 009 Loading a Folding Gas Cage

A safe system of work is a formal procedure which results from systematic examination of a task in
order to identify all the hazards. It defines safe methods to ensure that hazards are eliminated or
risks minimized.
Ensure Manual Handling training has been completed before completing this
task and that you are wearing the appropriate PPE.

With one person taking command, lift the Know slowly walk to the side of the
gas cage to waist height vehicle making sure that one person is
continually communicating and
controlling the activity

Slide the gas cage onto the side of the Push the cage onto the bed of the vehicle
