100 Dollar Chocolate Cake

                                                                                 •   2 cups sifted all purpose flour       •  2 teaspoons vanilla
                                                                                 •   1 cup white sugar                     •  1 cup Miracle Whip salad dressing
                                                                                 •   4 tablespoons cocoa                      (brand of mayonnaise)
                                                                                 •   1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda           •  1 cup water
                                                                                 •   Pinch of salt
                                                                                 Preparation:


                                                                                1. Mix and sift the first 5 ingredients (mix thoroughly but don’t sift)
                                                                                2. Mix last 3 ingredients and combine the two mixtures (don’t beat - it makes
                                                                                   the cake too fluffy)
                                                                                3. Scoop into a pan (angel food cake pan is best as it provides even heating)
                                                                                   that has been coated lightly with vegetable oil which prevents sticking.

                                                                                4. Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 40 minutes (test cake with cake
                                                                                   stick to see it is done - should have a couple of cracks on top too).
                                                                                5. Remove from the oven. Let it cool.

                                                                                6. Place on a plate, then add icing if desired.
