£ ophomore ‘Retreat

For two days in November, the sophomores left their familiar sur­
roundings and embarked on a journey to become closer to God. The
retreat’s theme “Who Am I?” gave them a chance to ponder their own
uniqueness and how this makes them precious in the eyes of God.
Sister Cooke spoke about who we are in God eyes, and returning
alumna Irene Delgado talked about the different masks that we wear.
Veronica Lacasa, a student at Carrollton, gave a personal testimony on
her life’s journey. Students also enjoyed the opportunity for reflection
away from their sometimes busy and chaotic daily lives.
