F o u r th G rade E xplorers
The Fourth Grade explored nature in a hands-on environment. The
students journeyed through Shark Valley in the Everglades. There
they saw alligators nesting in swamps and a variety of birds, some
of which were rare species. The fourth graders also got to go
“under the sea” looking for different sea creatures. As the
students gathered the sea creatures, their guide would explain the
role of each animal and its different features. These fourth grade
explorers discovered new facts about their natural surroundings.
Miami provided to be a great learning ground for these students.
