On May 11,2002, Senior and Junior Prom took place
at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. From 8:00 to
9:30 there was a reception for the parents which
gave them a chance to see their daughters dressed
in beautiful gowns. The evening began with a formal
dinner and ended with dancing. Seniors were given
a necklace that had the Carrollton logo while juniors
were given key chains with a hanging heart. The 1
tables were decorated with beautiful floral arrange­
ments. By the end of the night everyone was on the
dance floor; even the teachers. The music ranged
from salsa to disco. As students get older they will
tell the story of Carrollton Prom 2002 to their
children, and they will remember their classmates 1
and that special evening with great joy.
