Carrollton Junior High students have been participating
in Fun and Friendship for 10 years. Started by Maureen
Glavin, RS.CJ, during her tenure as Director of the
Junior High, Fun and Friendship is a day when students
share a variety of activities with children of Little
Havanas Centro Mater. Centro Mater was established
by Margarita Miranda, RSCJ, as a pre-school and
after-school program for the children o f Cuban refugee
parents who had to go to work.
