This year’s Christmas Formal,
traditionally sponsored by the
Social Committee, was held in
the historically romantic setting
of the “El Jardin” patio on the
thirteenth of December 1980.
When the couples arrived, they
received carnations and
proceeded to the dance floor
where they danced to the theme
song, “Let Me Be Your Angel,”
played by the electrifying sounds
of “Southern Trust.” When not
dancing, the couples helped
themselves to the exquisitely
prepared buffet and strolled
around the beautiful grounds.
When the Formal ended, the girls
left with memories of a night well
spent.
