An event that Carrollton High School
students await with much anticipation is
the traditional receiving of their school
rings. Each year, the Senior class plans
the Ring Party for the Juniors. The
festivities include a late luncheon,
Junior initiation, and the presentation of
the rings. In addition, each Junior
receives a mug as a special present
from the Senior class.
The theme for this year’s Ring Party
was “ Prep and Punk.” The Senior class
president, Luisa Suarez, thought it an
appropiate idea for the graduates to
dress'‘preppy” and the Juniors to dress
“punk.” This activity, held at “El
Jardin,” proved to be a most joyous
and successful afternoon.
