The Junior class spent a week with the Close Up
Program in Washington D.C. The girts participated in
workshops and got to know students from states such as
Iowa! Minnesota, North Dakota, and Connecticut. While
spending the day on Capitol Hill, the Juniors met with
the staff of Senators Bob Graham and Bill Nelson and
met with Representative lleana Ros-Lethinen herself. After
visitinghthe Supreme Court, House of Representatives,
Uniop Station, and the Smithsonian, each qirl acquired
information and become familiar with each branch
le United States Government, not to mention the
ping in Georgetown!
