Members of the Varsity
Softball team are easy to recognize
anywhere. At games and practice,
you can hear them screaming
energetic cheers - even during warm
up laps. In the halls, they are
marked by bandages and ice packs.
Yes, softball is a tough sport, but
Cyclone team members proved to
be even tougher. Dade Christian
School continued to be the team's
biggest rival this season. Young
talent, found in players like Kristina
Adler and Ali Pardo, should help
the team overcome Dade in the
future. "Our biggest success this
season was arriving at Districts
and fighting our way through
the game," said Captain Maritza
Arnedo. Strong leadership from
coaches and senior veterans united
the team and led to wins in the final
innings of big games.
