Carrollton High School started the year
                                                               by having a Kick-Off dance on September
                                                               23,  1994.  The  dance  was  sponsored  by
                                                               the Sophomores and Key Club. The PA.C.
                                                               was  filled  with  a  variety of students  from
                                                               schools  like  Ransom,  Belen,  Columbus,
                                                               and  Gulliver.  The  party  was  deejayed  by
                                                               Jammin' Johnny of Power 96 and as a side
                                                               show,  the  band,  who's  name  at  the  time
                                                               was  Beaufort  Bering,  performed  som e
                                                                songs.



                                                                             "The  dance  had  a  great
                                                                             turnout,  especially  by  the
                                                                             Seniors.  1  think  m ost  o f
                                                                             them  went  because  they
                                                                             realized  how  special  this
                                                                             dance  was  considering  it
                                                                             was one of our last.

                                                                   There  was  a  variety  of music  ranging
                                                                from alternative,  to dance and  from  rock
                                                                to hip-hop. This seemed to accommodate
                                                                the diversity of people that attended.
                                                                   As a tribute to the Class o f'95, jammin'
                                                                Johnny  asked  all  the  Seniors  onto  the
                                                                stage so they could  be recognized. While
                                                                on stage. Ana Gonzalez and Esther Suarez
                                                                led  the rest of the students in a rendition
                                                                of YMCA by the Village People.
