The 2006-2007 Debate team was supposed to be about rebuilding, hut the juniors served notice early on that they were ready
to shine. With elimination showings at Wake Forest, Georgetown Day School, St Mark's, Desert Vista, Cal Berkeley and
others, the team sent two girls to the Tournament of Champions for the second year in a row. The Novice team grew to over
twenty young women and the Junior Varsity took another step toward leading the program. The team also hosted a national
tournament on Carrollton's beautiful Barat campus for the first time.
