On March 8,2006, the tenth grade class went on afield trip to the Fairchild Tropical Garden Chihuly
Exhibit. Since they had studied the chemistry of glass, the outing was particularly educational and
enjoyable. Students were able to view a colorful variety of hand-blown glass objects located throughout the gar­
den. Accompanied by their Chemistry teacher, Ms. Lindeman, the sophomores were able to spend a beautiful day
together, taking the time to appreciate Chihuly’s wonderful works of art.
