Simply
Magical!
Although the rain did not cease to pour on the
night of December 9, 2000, it did not overshadow
the excitement the students felt at the Christmas
Formal. This year many changes were made to the
traditionally formal dance. First, the dance was
held at an earlier date than usual. The party was
also extended to the second floor of El Jardin.
Lastly, the Christmas Formal committee offered
single tickets for those girls who felt they would
like to attend without an escort. Sophomore
Silvia Larrieu stated, “I think it was a great idea to
have Christmas Formal a week before leaving for
Christmas Break. It was less stressful and it put
people in the Christmas spirit.”
