Halloween was a day of many festivities. In the
   morning  the  primary  students  marched  to  the
   High School campus at 8:45. They came to the
   High  Schobl to  parade  their  colorful epstumes.
   After they finished .they  continued  to  El Jardin.
   Here they showed off their costumesjfor the Inter-
   mediate students.
      In the  Intermediate School,  the sixth graders
   spent their Halloween carving pumpkins as part
   of a contest.  The High  School students  demon­
   strated Halloween enthusiasm by carving pump­
   kins iti the annual pumpkin carving contest which
   was sponsored by Congress. Each committee was
   in  charge  of coming  up with  a theme  iFor their
   pumpkin. The committee .with the best pumpkin
   ided would have  a free lfinch  in the gfove.  The
   lucky  committee  was  the  Fine Arts  Committee
   witlvtiijeir  Pr*ze  winning  pumpkin  representing
   Charlie  Chaplin.  The  head  of  the  committee

   AlexandnFeldman stated “that all the members
   of the committee were honored and proud that
   they won 1st place in the contest.”   -
