2. Practise catching your prickle
Can you catch the pickle and self-soothe quickly?
It will be REALLY hard at the start – but you can get better at it.
What works best?
▪ A walk around the garden?
▪ Singing a song?
▪ Dancing to some music?
▪ Listening to calm music?
▪ Looking at a photo that reminds you of a
happy time?
Try different ways.
