BRAIN STRESS & PRICKLE HABITS
As I explained, when stress chemicals are released, it takes good flexible
thinking, emotional regulation and impulse control to manage well.
If someone has not yet strengthened those skills quite yet, they can end
up with ‘Prickle Habits’.
You noticed that you can often want to push the unpleasant feeling away
or hide from it.
Do you hide and freeze? Do you avoid? Do you run?
Do you throw? Do you mask or bury?
