SKILL RAG
I can work out the steps or different actions needed to reach a goal
or to complete a task e.g. If I want to have the money to buy a
new skateboard, I can think of some steps to achieve this.
I can break a longer project or task down into smaller steps
I can put the different steps of a job into the right order to get the
task done e.g. When getting ready for a trip, I can work out all the
things I will need to do so I am ready to leave at the right time.
I can make decisions about what is important to focus on and what
is not so important.
I can work out the best first step to start a task e.g. when tidying
my room, I can work out the best job to do first.
I can work out the steps I need to get done for a longer project by
chunking it into smaller tasks.
I can use scaffolds such as Mind Maps, bullet points, post-its or
color coding to help me plan out the different steps in a task.
