I explained that Flexible Thinking is a skill.
It is a really important skill.
It helps us to:
1. Manage when things change
2. Problem-solve
3. See different points of view
4. Think of solutions to problems
5. Give up a little bit of what we want so everyone is happy
6. Get on with others
7. Try new experiences
8. Become calm and happy again quickly after something
happened that has made us sad, worried or
angry. This is called EMOTIONAL FLEXBILITY
– it means we can look at good things in our
lives and bounce back.
We can get better at being flexible thinking if we practise.
