Stress Busting Strategies
If we let cortisol and other stress chemicals
build up in our system, it can make it
harder for us to deal with times when our
needs cannot be met so well.
It is therefore important to develop good routines for
lowering the levels of stress chemicals in our body.
We explored stress busting strategies that you could start to
build so they become daily, weekly and monthly habits.
During the session, you started to think about some stress
busting habits:
▪ Regular walks with your mum
▪ Reading a few pages before bed
Using the grid on the next page, think about other stress
busting strategies that could become part of your routine.
