it is sensible to go ahead with the insurance premium. He
referred to it insuring KN for the disbursements and I
clarified that he is responsible for disbursements regardless
of anything else and that the insurance premium was his
premium and insuring him for the disbursements should the
claim fail. He understood this. He is getting very worried
about money. Easyjet will only keep him on full pay for
another 3 months. I explained that we could not compel
the Defendant to make an interim payment, especially
before proceeding were issued. I explained that we could
make an application but that there would probably be a
costs risk associated with that. Sig said he was worried that
the case would take 2-3 years and that he would be a
"broken man" by the end of it - financially and emotionally. i
KEA assuring client that we would progress things as much
as we could, but ultimately cannot force the Defendant's
hand. Client will email to confirm that he would like to go
ahead with the insurance premium. i
