SUGGESTIONS FOR NEW ENTRANCE TO ASHBOURNE PARK
FOR CONSIDERATION BY APOA AND DEVELOPERS
We would negotiate with AHL to bear the costs, but there are some small items that we may
have to accept.
The benefits for us are obvious and give us complete separation from the proposed
development, avoids the traffic jams and gives us a couple of extra space for visitors' parking.
• It has the disadvantage of making the turn into the garage for Cliff and Sandra slightly
more difficult; If this proved unacceptable one of the new spaces could be reallocated
to them:
• AHL gives up a small piece of land (marked by the orange line- estimated at around
500 sq. metres and gets area (B: around 300 sq.metreS) in exchange.
• But more importantly for AHL:
lffi it gains a clear and uninterrupted building line for development of over
1,200 sq. metres of WH:LIC and the northern car park;
lffi it frees up the WH entrance for use by construction traffic
• The owner of Pips gets a much better and wider driveway which we can landscape.
We may also have to pay a small rights of way fee:
Can we please have your reaction to the above and to what extent:
• Pauline should be empowered to discuss the idea with the owners of WH and AHL?
• We should share these ideas at an early stage with PIPS and PIPS COTT AGE?
An early response would be appreciated.
