"The clothes are beautiful. I have

never seen anything so pretty before!"

One week later, the weavers said,

"The clothes are finished." They brought

the magic clothes to the king. The king was

surprised because he could not see the

clothes, but he did not want everyone to

think he was foolish. The king said, "The

clothes are perfect!"

The king tried on the new clothes

and ordered the entire townspeople to stand

outside so he could parade around and

show everyone his new magic clothes.

Many townspeople were surprised to

discover they could not see the clothes, but

they did not want to appear foolish.
