The next day, when the witch was
away, the prince stood at the bottom of the
tower and said: Rapunzel! Rapunzel! Let
down your hair for me! Rapunzel let her
hair down and the prince climbed up to the
top of the tower. Rapunzel was very
surprised to see the prince, for she had
never seen another human, except for the
witch.
The prince and Rapunzel became
good friends and they planned on getting
married. One day the witch discovered that
the prince had been secretly visiting
Rapunzel. The witch became so mad that
she cut off Rapunzel's hair and moved her
to a deserted area.
